Is there a live instructor during the skills session?

No, RQI stations are fully automated and will guide you through the skills session. The system provides real-time feedback on your performance to help you improve.

Do I need to complete the online course before the skills session?

Yes, the online portion of the training must be completed before you can access the hands-on skills session at the RQI station.

What types of CPR certifications are available through RQI?

The RQI platform offers certification for the following American Heart Association (AHA) courses:
– BLS (Basic Life Support)
– ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
– PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Will I receive an American Heart Association (AHA) card?

Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an official AHA eCard.

What happens if I can’t pass the skills session?

If you’re struggling to pass, don’t worry. Each RQI station has a tablet available to contact a live instructor. The instructor can provide guidance and offer a call to walk you through the process and help you improve your performance.

How long does RQI training take?

It depends on the course. The online learning portion for BLS takes 1–2 hours, and for ACLS and PALS between 3-4 hours. The skills session may take 20–40 minutes depending on your pace and proficiency.

How often do I need to renew my RQI certification?

RQI certifications are valid for two years.
